Eligen los mejores programas de TV

MÉXICO, DF.- Si a uno le preguntan por los amigos Ross y Rachel, sabrán que fueron figuras claves de la serie Friends; o que Buffy dedicaba sus noches a cazar vampiros; que Lucy desesperaba a su esposo Ricky Ricardo con sus “ingeniosas” ideas; o que Atínale al Precio es la versión mexicana de The Price Is Right.

Otros recordarán la melodía alienígena de The X Files; sabrán que Simon Cowell es el juez patán de American Idol o que Danny DeVito y Andy Kaufman pasaban sus días en el taller de Taxi.

Estos programas y otro tantos forman parte de la lista de la revista Time de los 100 mejores series de la televisión.

El centenar incluye a las series, programas de concurso, los talk shows, telenovelas, deportes, videos y hasta comerciales. No tienen un orden numérico sino que están organizados de forma alfabética y abarcan desde los primeros años de la televisión hasta los realizados el año pasado.

James Poniewozik, autor de la lista, explica los criterios que tomó en cuenta para el listado: voces, originalidad, ideas, influencia y personajes. Otros, como conciencia social, valores morales, contenido educativo e influencia, también fueron evaluados pero no pesan tanto.

“Sinceramente espero que después de que se haya visto unos cinco episodios, uno no mejore su actitud”.

Pero aclara que estos productos de la pantalla chica son, en su mayoría, los hechos para la televisión estadounidense.
