Los filmes Hugo, Harry Potter y The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo ganaron los altos honores de la XVI entrega de premios del Sindicato de Directores de Arte (ADG por sus siglas en inglés). Dante Ferretti fue triunfador de Mejor Dirección Artística en Película de Época por Hugo; Stuart Craig, el de Mejor Dirección Artística en Película Fantástica por Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, y Donald Graham Burt, como Mejor Dirección Artística en Película Contemporánea por Dragon Tattoo.
